Elith Samuel Parada was arguing with the 23-year-old tenant at a home on the 2700 block of Burrough Hill Lane in Woodbridge around 10:30 p.m. april 21, when he physically prevented her from leaving the home, county police said.
After an "extended period of time," the victim was able to leave the home and called police. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Parada, county police said.
Parada was taken into custody on Thursday, May 2, and charged with abduction, authorities said.
